Description oliver@triplre.com 2011-05-09 15:21:29 UTC
After changing lots of tags with EasyTag and rescanning the Banshee lib many times, the MP3 tags are still not refreshed in Banshee (and as can be seen in the screenshot, the 2 marked songs dont show up in the album mentioned in the album-tag)

*** Bug 651608 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Comment 3 Michael Martin-Smucker 2011-06-04 03:28:40 UTC
I'm fairly sure I've also seen this, and I'd say the duplicate confirms it.
Comment 4 kubix.medrek 2012-07-21 11:52:50 UTC
I have this bug too, so I think it's confirmed.
Comment 5 meekay+bugzilla 2016-02-26 03:05:50 UTC
To any other people that may have this bug, I solved it in version 2.6.2 by specifying the folder that contains my music in Preferences -> Source Specific and then rescanning the library. My music library is not stored in ~/Music, but because that was what the preferences were pointing to, that's what was being scanned when the Rescan Library option was selected. Hope this helps!

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
