Description David Prieto 2011-04-24 01:04:21 UTC
When you click a file from the Activities overlay, it opens in the default app. When you have a favourite app, I'd like to be able to drag a file to its icon in order to use that app to open the file.

Related bugs:

601008: recent items should open in the application they were last used in

644422: no drop target on dash launchers (you could argue that this bug is a dupe of 644422)
