Description Rod Turnham 2011-04-19 21:15:23 UTC
Help file says "Text can be entered by selecting the object and then typing the text".

This does not work. I select the box object and start typing my text. Nothing happens. After clicking on the cursor tool and the object, it will OCCASIONALLY go into text entry mode, but that appears to be a random event; not predictable and not reliably repeatable.

Dia is version 0.97.1, downloaded 4/19/2011, running on Windows 7.

Yes, the manual is wrong (or better not updated for dia-0-97).
Entering the text edit mode is by no means random, though. See e.g.
