GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 646707
"Invite to chatroom" menu doesn't always work
Last modified: 2018-05-22 14:43:40 UTC
I noticed that sometimes, the "Invite to chatroom" menu doesn't display any chatrooms while it should.
That's because the chatroom-manager resets the chat room list when something changes and so only the favorite rooms stay in the mgr. The current chatroom mgr is a bit crack tbh. It should store the favorite and current chatrooms in 2 different lists. Too big for 3.0, but it would be good to refactor this for 3.2.
Looks like this won't happen for 3.2, it's too late for such big changes.

HI Guillaume, Is there any progress on this bug. It has been logged on Launchpad for almost a year now and 6 months on this bug and no progress. Please advise what needs to happen to get any traction with this issue. Thanks
Someone has to rewrite/redesign most of Emapthy's chatroom manager. I don't have time doing it atm.

Not going to happen for 3.6.
