On ubuntu Natty it can be seen that the mpris:arturl key/value pair in the mpris properties on the player interface is never present and as a result artwork is not visibile on the sound menu.
D-feet will show the there is no arturl key/value pair even though the application has artwork (shown in the album art panel). 

This was working fine for Maverick.
