Description adam.stroud 2011-02-17 14:19:12 UTC
I am trying to add a podcast into rhythmbox that is password protected with a username and password. The issue is that the username is as email address and Rhythmbox does not seem to support this. I am able to add other password protected podcast by appending the username/password to the URL like "http://username:password@url. This does not seem to work if the username is an email address however.

You probably need to url-encode the username, so it'd look like "http://user%40domain:password/url".

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
