When I attempt to add a Podcast that requires HTTP authentication Rhythmbox displays the following error:

There was a problem adding this podcast: Unable to parse the feed contents. Please verify that URL: http://pardcast.com/feeds/season4/season4.xml. Would you like to add the podcast feed anyway?
