Description Alexandre Franke 2011-02-02 10:17:06 UTC
As proposed in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=638990#c5 the list of favorites should not be a hardcoded list but should rather display whatever applications are configured as favorite applications in control-center.

I assume that you are just referring to the default browser, and not every default mimetype handler (web, mail, calendar, music, videos, photos)?
Comment 2 Alexandre Franke 2013-08-29 11:19:48 UTC
Browser as a minimum, but I think more than that would actually be a good thing. Is there a reason to limit it to the browser?
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2014-11-10 00:03:26 UTC
I personally think this is overly complicated for not much gain. We used to do this in GNOME 2.x for the default browser, mailers icons, and it caused more problems than it solved. If this is for administrators, there are better ways to change defaults...

Yeah, I agree with comment #3 ...
