Change the default list to: Firefox, Evolution, Empathy, Rhythmbox, Shotwell, OOWriter, Nautilus As requested by the designers.

Why not Epiphany, which is part of GNOME?
@Frederic: Hmm, because any distro would patch that? Actually it should automatically default to whatever you configured you favourite applications to in control-center!

I have to agree, we should advertise our own browser (ie Epiphany) by default (and as a distro guy, it is really not an issue to replace Epiphany with whatever default distribution is choosing).
http://patch-tracker.debian.org/patch/series/view/gnome-shell/2.91.90-1/01_favorite_apps.patch is the Debian patch changing it to use Epiphany…
