Description Charlie Kravetz 2011-01-28 19:55:22 UTC
This bug has been reported on Ubuntu Launchpad as:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/664750

Forwarded from the launchpad report:

in the preferences window the direction can be set to follow the alphabet selected or custom, which it seems should activate a set of radio buttons to choose the direction, however they do not activate.

DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10
Package: dasher 4.11-1
Architecture: i386

ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_GB.utf8
 SHELL=/bin/bash

Additional Information:
I am able to reproduce this issue in Natty Narwhal. Steps to reproduce:

1. start "dasher"
2. click on 'Preferences'
3. Language tab, click on 'Custom' under 'Direction'.
4. Note that none of the selections are available to use.

I fixed that in head - why did someone in gtk think that changing what a function returns without changing that function's name is a good idea?!

    GTK: repair Top/Botton Right/Left selection in preferences.

    This fixes Bug 630729, caused by Gtk changing the behaviour
    of gtk_widget_get_name().

Re new release, the current nasty problem is how to delete more than a few characters using super pinyin.
