Description Patrick Welche 2010-09-27 12:59:45 UTC
From Amanda Carr:

> When I use the bottom to top feature, I don't see any letters at the top
> and than I get an error message and have to close the app. My download
> only lets me use left to right. Am I doing something wrong?

I can't even make the selection using the GUI. If I could, from the source it looks as though a certain number of "horizontal" geometry assumptions have crept in already, so it probably is generally broken.

Luckily it was just the GUI, which was broken because gtk_widget_get_name changed its behaviour.
Fixed with http://git.gnome.org/browse/dasher/commit/?id=e37d002bf152f17d2ee43c278da540114ed2d592
