Description Petr Tomasek 2011-01-18 16:18:07 UTC
Gucharmap now sorts the left column if in the "By Unicode Block" mode. This does not make any sense (the resuly is almost the same as when in "By Script" mode) and it make gucharmap almost UNUSABLE for many common tasks.

This change happened between 2.28 and 2.32.

It may or may not be a bug, but it hardly makes it "UNUSABLE".

Well, I used gucharmap to find characters I needed and to copy them to my documents. The all were "near" wrt to the codepoint, so it was easy to find them.

Now, it takes me > 5 minutes to find a character which makes gucharmap unusable for this task...
