The fixed maximum zoom out level is not useful

I see two ways of allowing this to be done:

A. Have Ctrl+0 for resetting the zoom level, and a "View" -> "Zoom reset" menu item.

B. Limit the zoom level that can be set using the scroll wheel:
1. Move the mouse cursor on the bar showing the times (above the timeline).
2. Zoom out using the scroll wheel. If the scroll wheel spins freely, zooming out leads to seeing nothing useful. See the attached screenshot.

This is already reported and fixed (well, there's a patch) in 633372.
