Description Victor Vargas 2010-11-23 18:42:21 UTC
This report was originally filled at:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/673615

It is expected that when you click your mouse's forward or back button, Banshee will skip to the next or previous track respectively. Currently, the buttons do nothing.

I suggest one of the following:
1) Map next/prev track to mouse forward's/back button.
2) Map next/prev track to ALT + LEFT , or ALT + PREV (to keep consistency with Firefox/Nautilus)
3) Allow the user to specify what key combination to use for next/prev track.

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
