Description hey 2010-09-01 22:59:56 UTC
(Originally bug #552529)

Original description by David Prieto:
»When you unmount a removable volume from nautilus, it shows the contents of
/media. Since for most users there is not much to be seen there, it would be
more usefult to show their home instead.«

Adding my points:
– Computer is not in the Nautilus sidebar, it’s likely you’ve never been there before
– It exposes the filesystem even more
– It is very unlikely that you want to continue working in Computer because
there normally is:
  – CD/DVD Drive (which you haven’t used in months)
  – Filesystem (…)
  – USB Drive (the one you probably just ejected)

Redirecting to one’s home folder is a much more sensible and useful solution.

Computer is no longer shown by default. And I think this case should display HOME now. Please reopen if it does not.
