gcr haven't have a release linking to gtk3 AFAICT.

If you configure empathy with gtk3 you will have a binary linked to gtk3 and gtk2 (via gcr) which won't run.

A new release of gnome-keyring is needed or to have empathy not use gcr when it's building with gtk3.
