Description komputes 2010-08-18 21:46:16 UTC
Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Rhythmbox visualization freezes after playing one song.

To reproduce:
1. Open Rhythmbox and add at least 2 songs to the play queue (some of the tests will need four or five).
2. Turn on the visualization.
3. Wait for the first song to finish playing (or even skip to close to the end).
4. Notice that the visualization freezes, even though the second song has started.

This issue was present when testing the visualizer plugin through rhythmbox on the following two releases of Ubuntu:

Tested on Ubuntu 10.04 - rhythmbox 0.12.8-0ubuntu7
Tested on Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha3 - rhythmbox 0.13.0git20100715-0ubuntu8

When you're forwarding a bug from another bug tracker, please copy and paste the full description. It's kind of annoying to have to go to launchpad to see all the information.

Hello,

I confirm initial issue.

Workaround:
Enabling Crossfading, restart rhythmbox in preferences allows the visualization to continue to next song.

Goom:What a Goom! visualization looks great on HDMI 1080P!

Go rhythmbox!
