GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 619692
segfault prevents startup after a crash using IMAP+
Last modified: 2010-05-26 04:36:23 UTC
Created attachment 161988 [details] gdb log I installed the 2.30.1 package from https://launchpad.net/~jacob/+archive/evo230/ in order to test the IMAPX features. All went well, except a crash occured after a few minutes of playing around/moving mail. I don't know what could have triggered the crash. I tried starting up evolution again, but now it briefly appears before disappearing due to a segfault. Nothing special (except Segmentation fault) is printed to the terminal. evolution --force-shutdown or evolution --offline does not seem to solve the problem. I ran evolution through gdb in the hope that you can figure out what's going on. The log is attached to this bug report.
Actually, there is something printed to the terminal: "EI: MAIL PREFS" Will attach the output of valgrind, if it's of any help.
