Description Hylke Bons 2010-03-23 19:15:11 UTC
Nautilus should use the current folder/device icon as its window icon.

This way it would be much easier to identify different file browser windows in the alt+tab switcher and the window list in the panel.

CD's, iPod Touch's, Downloads/Pictures/Music/etc. folders, Home Folder, Trash

Use the current icon as the window icon in browser mode (#613733).

This patch implements the suggestion. It looks like we were already doing this in spatial mode, but not in browser mode, which made sense when spatial mode was the default. I'm not still completely sold that changing an icon on the fly is a good thing though, so I did not commit this patch to master yet.

I got convinced that this is desirable behaviour by using a patched nautilus for a bit, and I ended up committing a different patch to master. Closing as FIXED.
