Description Marco Pallotta 2010-01-17 21:35:09 UTC
This bug was already reported on launchpad (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pitivi/+bug/386114).

PiTiVi label, inside applications -> audio & Video is not translated in Italian.
In fact it reports "PiTiVi video editor". I think a solution for Italian could be "PiTiVi - modificatore di filmati"

Tested with Ubuntu 10.04 alpha 1

Hi,

thank you for reporting this bug.

As for bug 607250, the menu voice is already translated in Italian in the GNOME version of PiTiVi. The cause that in Ubuntu it is not translated could be:
- A previous version of PiTiVi missing this translation
- Translation missing in Ubuntu due to the fact that translations for the upcoming version of Ubuntu have not been opened yet.

This kind of bugs should probably be reported in Launchpad and assigned to the Ubuntu Translators group.
