Description Marco Pallotta 2010-01-17 21:30:12 UTC
This bug was already reported on launchpad (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pitivi/+bug/386116).

When you keep your mouse pointer over the PiTiVi menu description a contextual label appears that says "create and edit your own movies". The question is that in Italian version of Ubuntu (tested with 10.04 alpha 1) this description is not translated.
Italian translation sounds like "Crea ed edita i propri filmati"

Hi,

thank you for reporting this bug.

The Italian translation of the menu tooltip is already in place in GNOME:
http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/pitivi.master/pitivi.master.it.po

If it is not in Ubuntu it could be because Ubuntu is using a previous version of PiTiVi that hadn't the translation done at that time.
If it is not in the upcominig version of Ubuntu it could also be because translations have not been opend yet for Ubuntu. Once they are, the Italian translation team will take action and sync with GNOME.

Ubuntu 10.04 pitivi version is 0.13.3.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
