GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 606038
filename becomes small when renamed
Last modified: 2012-08-23 09:12:42 UTC
This report was filled originally at: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/501796 steps to reproduce this issue: 1 - open Nautilus 2 - switch to list view 2 - zoom in to scale up the icon and font size 3 - press F2 to rename a file What happens: The name of the file becomes small, ignoring the zoom factor. What is expected: The name of the file keep the same size when renamed
Yes I can confirm this, I change to trivial importance, because I consider it a Cosmetic problem.

Note, this also happens when you zoom out. I believe the zoom is being reset to 100% when editing, then comes back to your preference.
also try this : 1 - open Nautilus 2 - switch to list view 2 - zoom in to scale up the icon and font size 3 - press F2 to rename a file 4 - While renaming, change the zoom factor does not look good huh?
This is not an issue anymore with git master, since we don't change font size anymore when zooming in.
