Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2009-12-06 03:56:40 UTC
g-v-c allows the user to go over the permitted maximum volume of a sound device, which is a good thing. The only problem is that it's not discoverable. The user may unsuspectingly put it to 200% and induce clipping. Attached is a screenshot of the problem and a suggestion: simply add a label for 100% (and hopefully for the maximum value too), and have the slider "snap" to it (just like it snaps to the "base" value)

We now show both the unamplified and 100% volumes (when the 100% volume is higher than the unamplified volume).
