Description aaron 2001-09-10 21:37:25 UTC
"To add a single item to the Main Menu, do the following:

Open a terminal
su to root
gmenu
learn and use gmenu"

This should be possible without a terminal, and ideally without gmenu,
which is crufty and difficult to use. It would be good to be able to drag
something from the desktop into the menu. At least to the Favorites menu.

Very borderline between minor and enhancement...

Just doing some tagging of files I've already triaged. Filter on 'luis doing
GNOME2 work' to get rid of the spam.

Updating all cc bugs that have the GNOME2 keyword set to the GNOME2.0 milestone,
to help jrb triage/prioritize cc bugs. Filter on 'luis doing GNOME2 work' to
ignore this spam.

Louie:

Shouldn't this either
a) be closed invalid since we use nautilus for menu editing
b) be marked a dupe of bug 83433(request for simple menu editing tool)
Comment 5 Luis Villa 2002-06-10 05:24:54 UTC
Well, that one should have been marked a dup of this one, and/or never
filed in the first place ;) But yeah, that has some useful discussion
on it now.
