Description Bastien Nocera 2009-11-13 17:54:27 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #550513 +++

When playing back:
http://people.fedoraproject.org/~hadess/CF24-upload.m2t

I get told that a few plugins are missing:
** Message: Missing plugin: gstreamer|0.10|totem|HDV AUX-A decoder|decoder-hdv/aux-a (HDV AUX-A decoder)
** Message: Missing plugin: gstreamer|0.10|totem|HDV AUX-V decoder|decoder-hdv/aux-v (HDV AUX-V decoder)

But both video and audio seem to play back fine...

AFAIK these AUX streams contain additional information for the A/V streams, nothing mandatory. I guess they should be blacklisted in playbin2 for now, missing plugin messages for them don't help much ;)

Because of bug #601658 those message are causing problems with totem.
Comment 2 Edward Hervey 2009-11-15 08:10:28 UTC
It might be good to have a generic system to tell decodebin2/playbin2 that the given streams do not require a decoder, otherwise this problem is gonna to happen more and more often.
Comment 3 Edward Hervey 2013-07-17 08:57:18 UTC
erf, those streams are no longer exposed since a loooong time (they will be handled internally to tsdemux).
