Overview tab without graph bars in hamster-applet

On my computer, using the 2.28.0 version of hamster-applet, my overview charts
show only the numbers of hours I've spent on tasks.  There are no bars in the
graphs, as it seems should be, according to various screen shots.  I have
attached a shot of Hamster on my machine.
