Description Luf 2009-10-22 14:37:39 UTC
The evolution (with evolution-mapi plugin) doesn't show some types od attachements (eg. .eml). The evolution show another types of attachment ok.

List of e-mails shows the icon for attachement but in detail it doesn't show it. I'm unable to get the attachement.

I see the problem in 0.26.x and 0.28.x (Fedora 11 and rawhide).

I tried with 2.30.1 (and actual master) with txt, p12, pdf, eml and pcap attachments, all in a mail created by Outlook 2007, and I can see all attachments except of the eml one (I chose "attach item" and then an email from the Inbox). I'll try to investigate more.

Luf, by the way, do I know you? I've a feeling I do, from a university, "Zimni vycvikovy kurz"? :)

Created commit f0376d0 in ema master (0.31.2+)

The change is too large to have it in stable too, thus only to the development version. I'm sorry.
Comment 5 Chad Feller 2010-05-12 21:51:55 UTC
This (problem) absolutely exists when a forward of a message with an attachment is sent (thus .eml attachment).

If I can definitively spot any instances where this applies outside of the .eml realm, I'll let you know.
