GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 591272
Internet Radio not providing pop up to authenticate with radio server.
Last modified: 2018-05-24 14:29:25 UTC
Please describe the problem: I am a subscriber over at Japanaradio.com. One of the services the provide is a dedicated server for its paying customers. However it requires a username and password to get on the radio server. Rhythmbox puts the entry in for the radio station but does not play it giving the error, "Authentication Required." There should be a pop up or something to provide an entry field for the username and password. Steps to reproduce: 1. Sign up with Japanaradio.com's paid service. 2. Download the .pls file. 3. Open the .pls file with Rhythmbox. 4. Attempt to play the new Internet Radio Station found in the Internet Radio tab. Actual results: You receive a pop up saying "Authentication Required." Expected results: You get a pop up asking for a username and password. Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: Send my a request and will see what I can do about getting you access to the .pls file and Japanaradio.com's server.
