GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 582292
display current time
Last modified: 2009-08-21 02:20:33 UTC
i like the idea of seeing the current time in the lock dialog. sometimes i just want to see the time on my computer after i had been busy doing things somewhere else. at the moment i have to unlock the screen to do that. Other information: first bug report here, so i hope i can attach pach files. i extended user on host by the time, so the format string reads: %U on %h (%t) where %t is expanded to the time in the printf format %02d:%02d
Created attachment 134476 [details] [review] extend user on host string: %U on %h (%t)
Created attachment 134477 [details] [review] handle format string %t by replacing it with current time
Actually I think I'd prefer it to display as an overlay over the theme. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 499165 ***
