Description Hew McLachlan 2009-04-26 07:44:26 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Sometimes after I've been listening to music on shuffle for a while, I decide to change to another one of my automatic playlists, so I double click on it (twice) to get it to start playing. However, I sometimes notice that the songs that are chosen are the ones I was listening to previously, and get played in the same order. It is playing back my exact listening history after the playlist change. If I keep pressing next, it runs through until the end, and then starts properly choosing songs randomly.

Steps to reproduce:
I haven't worked out exactly how to reproduce it yet, but these steps are generally what happens.

1. Listen to songs on any playlist for a while on shuffle.
2. Start playing a new playlist which has a number of songs in common.

Actual results:
Songs that I previously listened to are played.

Expected results:
Fresh songs are chosen according to the shuffle setting.

Does this happen every time?
I suspect so, but I haven't found steps which will reproduce the issue 100% yet.
