Description Michal Pěnka 2009-02-17 17:32:49 UTC
Thanks for this great player. I have all my music collection perfectly ID3 taged, but banshee behaves somehow bad with filtering of album/artist. To reproduce:

I have one album (for e.g. some soundtrack) called "Album", there are 10 songs within this album, each song has its own interpret. What I see in banshee's inner albums/artists/songs windows?

There are 10 albums, each of them is called "Album" (that's one problem), there are 10 interprets (that's right) and 10 songs (that's right as well).

What I would like to:
1) see only 1 album
2) click on the interpret, filter his albums (one of his/her album is called "Album") and after the click to the "Album" see not only 1 song of his/her, but all 10 songs of all 10 interprets.

I have about 200 GB of music in my collection and this is the only and really crucial problem for me and unfortunately a reason why I keep rhythmbox as a default player. Yet, I hope.
