GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 571725
New window command (ctrl-n) doesn't work from desktop
Last modified: 2009-02-19 19:12:39 UTC
Whenever I have a nautilus window open, I can press ctrl-n to open a new window. However, this doesn't work when no windows are open, which is really annoying. Other information:
Moving to nautilus. My personal opinion is near WONTFIX: you expect ctrl+n to work because you know the desktop is nautilus, I guess. But it's really a specific case, and most people won't know this. (note that you can add a keybinding to open a nautilus window)
