Description Stefano 2009-02-06 18:26:41 UTC
Please describe the problem:
At boot metacity doesn't load shadows on panels, while awn is loaded and globally the composite is running: if I open a menu its shadow is loaded. Shadows on panels appear only if I disable and than enable the composite from gconf-editor. After that everything works fine.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable composite from gconf-editor
2. Reboot

Actual results:
The panel's shadow is not present until I disable and than enable the composite extension.

Expected results:
The panel shadow shown without a user action.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
I don't know if I use a "Soren" or "Iain" composite...
