Description Parker Smith 2009-02-06 05:07:21 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I enabled the feature that enables the mouse to go off like a sonar when I hit CTRL. When this is enabled, my media keys on my keyboard go totally dead. Disabling the mouse feature brings them back to life immediately.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Use XF86* shortcuts for media keys
2. Enable mouse highlighting

Actual results:
My media keys no longer respond to input.

Expected results:
That my media keys would keep working.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
I actually don't know whose problem this is... mouse or keyboard :(

Same for me on a Dell Precision M90. Checking the 'Show position of pointer when the Control key is pressed' stops the media keys, Unchecking it, and the media keys work perfectly.

It really has nothing to do with libgnomekbd

Where is more appropriate, then?
