Would be nice for the screenshot tool to default to the Pictures directory.  Would need to use the xdg user dirs for this.

I am pretty sure there were other bug reports about this issue and the general consensus was that a screenshot of the current screen is most of the time something very different from the "pictures of last weekend at the seaside" and "Mary's wedding pictures" etc.
Most of the time the screenshot has a short life span and just needs to be uploaded or sent somewhere, so you (well, at least I) do not want it to have it mixed up with your pictures.
