Description Ondra Pelech 2009-01-25 23:05:51 UTC
There should be some GUI way (aka "Load subtitles" button) to load subtitles for your movie. Something like BSplayer or Mplayer already has - click the button, from the "Open files" dialog choose the subtitle file from your filesystem, and that's it, subtitles are on. Now, when you have a dvdrip movie called Ed.Wood.Xvid.avi and you want to watch it with subtitles you have to get the subtitle file in the same directory as the movie is and than rename it as the movie itself - Ed.Wood.Xvid.srt. That's realy uncomfortable.

In Totem 2.24 you can already load a subtitle by right-clicking on a file in the playlist, and in Totem 2.26, you'll be able to load it from the subtitles menu under "View".
