Description Milan Crha 2009-01-15 11:11:42 UTC
After patch from bug #246313, we can see more than 6 event in a day view, and as was mentioned there, there is no indication that some event's are not shown in a multi-day view.

Chen suggested in the above bug:
It can be placed near the Date string on top of the canvas, may
be by displaying the label as a url or adding a .. to that.

Potential duplicate of bug 212084.
Comment 2 Milan Crha 2012-02-10 09:12:01 UTC
This is different. While bug #212084 is about one-day view, having indication that if you scroll up/down then you'll find more events there, then this one is about multi-day view, like the work-week view, to indicate that not all events could be shown due to width constraints on the day's column.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2013-09-04 17:36:23 UTC
Milan: So this is about several events ****at the same time****?
If so it would be quite helpful if the bug summary said so.
Comment 4 Milan Crha 2013-09-05 06:55:05 UTC
I would do this in a different way, let's make the column wider, if it's necessary and add horizontal scroll bar in the view, possibly hiding some of the days. I believe it's better to show all events with horizontal scroll, than to hide some and and a mark somewhere where not everyone will notice it.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
