Description Haydn 2009-01-05 14:14:14 UTC
Please describe the problem:
GIMP wont start when i have ALOT of Brushes that it is told to load.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add ALOT of brushes into the brush folder specified.
2. Restart GIMP
3.

Actual results:
GIMP will load but then a message appears saying, "GLib-ERROR**:gmem,c:136: failed to allocate 4206102 bytes. aborting..." then another message pops up saying something about Runtime error and that GIMP stopped in an abrupt way.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
It happens everytime i try to load ALOT of the brushes that i want to use at the same time.

Other information:
Is there a way I can make this not happen? i need to use those brushes ASAP...
