GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 565562
Month view compresses Sat and Sun even if they are marked as workdays
Last modified: 2020-03-09 17:41:27 UTC
Althogh I checked Weekdays as Sat., Sun., Mon., Tue. and Wed.; the Month view on calendar still shows Sat and Sun as weekends. This is a bit annoying. Regards, Tareg Distribution: Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy) Gnome Release: 2.22.3 2008-07-09 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.22.0

I can reproduce the issue in 2.32.2. To reproduce: 1) Select these days as work days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu 2) Select "Compress weekends in month view" What happens: Sat/Sun are compressed What the user expects: Fri/Sat to be compressed
Note that the previous comment was made with the setting "Edit > Preferences > Calendar and Tasks > General > Work Week > Week starts on" set to Sunday.
I just confirmed with the about reproduction instructions in Evolution 3.2.2.
Happens to me to.
This had been filled in GitLab instance now [1], thus I close this in favor of it. Please see it for any further updates. [1] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/issues/823
