GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 564642
Download account list fails
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:13:55 UTC
Please describe the problem: I'm trying to use the AQbanking setup wizard to setup online banking but so I can't get it to work. I have been following the directions found here: http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Setting_up_OFXDirectConnect_in_GnuCash_2. I get to the point where I have entered in all the required financial info, select the "supports account list download" and then click on "Get Accounts." When I do this, it prompts for the password but then returns me to the previous screen (http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/images/AqB-UserOFX.png). I reports the following error (in my terminal, of course) after it fails: 3:2008/12/15 09-44-14:gwen(16843):io_tls.c: 1154: gnutls_handshake: -9 (A TLS packet with unexpected length was received.) [fatal] 3:2008/12/15 09-44-14:(null)(16843):provider.c: 659: Error exchanging getAccounts-request (-66) 3:2008/12/15 09-44-14:qt3_wizard(16843):cfgtabpageuserofx.cpp: 283: Error requesting account list Steps to reproduce: See my description above. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? yes Other information: I am using the "out of the box" support for online banking that gnucash now has on intrepid ubuntu. I have previously gotten online banking to work by compiling OFX support myself (as was required pre-intrepid on ubuntu).
I suggest to mark this bug as a duplicate of http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=590406 - which is more up to date, but apparently the same problem.
