Does Control+I work?
Comment 2 ca.indie 2008-11-26 03:20:17 UTC
No, Control+I does not work.

I can confirm this one for myself.
Comment 4 Brian Mury 2009-04-16 00:46:18 UTC
I see this also. Some emails will display images, some emails won't, and some emails will display some images but not all. It seems to be consistent in terms of which emails do what - any given email will always exhibit the same behaviour. It also seems to be consistent by sender.

I can attach the source for an email that does not display images if that would help.

Note - in my experience, this may have something to do with proxy settings. gconf and evolution have different definitions of the structure of "ignore-hosts" in the %gconf files. gconf schema has it as a list of strings, whereas evolution has it as just a string. Whenever I try to enter a list of hosts manually in evolution, like "localhost, 127.0.0.1, *.domain.com", I get an error like "Expected list, got string" or visa versa.

Unlike these other folks, I NEVER get images.

This is a good catch, I'm going to mention it in the other bug report.
