Description Nolan Darilek 2008-11-19 02:24:29 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In long pidgin conversations, window text isn't updated when scrolling and using flat review.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
1. Open a pidgin conversation and generate more than one screenful of text.
2. Review a line or two using flat review.
3. Scroll the window up such that more text is revealed.
4. Try to move to the new text.

Actual results:
Flat review ends where the original text stops and doesn't reveal the new text.

Expected results:
I'd expect to see the new text.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

I think this may be a duplicate of bug #436641. Note also that once Pidgin bug http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/7148 tracked by bug #552900 is fixed, you should be able to use Shift+F6 to go to the message area and review it using the built-in keyboard navigation techniques of GNOME.
