Description Jelle de Jong 2008-11-04 12:44:44 UTC
Hello everybody,

I am trying to switch to evolution with my open standard based server, using imap, openldap, caldav. I have no need for any local storage options beside settings.

Currently I got all kind of local "On this computer" items for email, calendar, task, memo windows. I would like to get rid of this and only show the items i want to use.

I am using debian sid with: pool/main/e/evolution/evolution_2.22.3.1-1_i386.deb

If somebody can make it possible to fix this in configure files and through settings guis, than i would be very thankful.

I am willing to donate some Dutch stroopwafels or some other kinds of reward, for the developers fixing the issue.

Thanks in advance,

If I only knew how to code... :-)

This bugs me as well, especially since it's possible to hide the local folders in the mail view. Just feels inconsistent. Might take a look at fixing this, but probably won't have time.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
