Description Matt McCutchen 2008-10-20 02:44:37 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The "Include threads" setting of a search folder does not work. No matter what I select, the search folder shows only the specific messages that matched the criteria, not the entire threads.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Evolution on a clean home directory and complete the email setup wizard with fake information.
2. Post a message to the Inbox.
3. Post a reply message to the Inbox, and label the reply Important.
4. Define a search folder with source "All local folders" and criterion "Label is Important". Set "Include threads" to "All related".
5. Open the search folder.

Actual results:
Only the reply message appears.

Expected results:
Both messages appear (the reply pulls the original message in via the "All related" setting).

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
This regression is mentioned in bug 326142 comment 17. My email workflow relies on the "Include threads" feature, so I will not be able to upgrade from Evolution 2.22 to 2.24 until it is restored.
