Please describe the problem:
Hi,

I have a registered IRC nick on FreeNode, and sometimes Empathy can't use the nickname. Even if I use another IRC client to manually make sure the nickname isn't used anymore, restarting Emapthy doesn't help: it says the nickname is already in use (which is false).

Does this happen every time?
it doen't always happens, but it sure does happen often (and lately, it seems it happens always).
