Description roberth.sjonoy 2008-08-24 18:29:02 UTC
I would like to see some posibilities to adjust things like font size, album art size etc in the now playing view.
The reason for this is because if I fullscreen that view on my monitor(1680x1050), the text and the album cover gets very small in is only viewable from a short distance from the screen.

There are two different ways this could be solved, one would be that the user simply cant change resolution on the album cover art, and size on the text, or if the user could adjust this by having a scale indicated with percents(1 to 100 %) and if the use adjust the text and the album cover art up, everything will be adjust to be larger, but still is like they were default, just larger.

I'd say exposing user settings could be avoided and Banshee could just more elegantly handle different screens and resolutions.
Comment 2 roberth.sjonoy 2008-08-24 21:12:10 UTC
Yes that could of course be an option, by checking xrandr or something for the systems resolution and adjust automatically according to what info it gets or something in the corner.

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
