GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 545454
Error while Storing folder
Last modified: 2013-09-13 01:01:24 UTC
Since I upgraded to 2.23.x some folders don't work. The new messages I've received after the upgrade are always marked as not read. I can read them or mark them as read, but they appear again as not read when I restart evolution. The following error message appears in the status bar: Error while Storing folder 'foo'. Detected a corrupt mbox file or an invalid 'From' header It might be a bug in the sqlite migration stuff, since I've never had problem with my mboxes before.
FWIW, some errors I can see in stdout too: (evolution:6094): camel-local-provider-WARNING **: Didn't get the next message where I expected (27552795) got 51883 instead (evolution:6094): camel-local-provider-WARNING **: Expected a From line here, didn't get it. SO recovering....
Which exact 2.23 version? This is basically a remix of bug 213072. :-P

Created attachment 116862 [details] Screenshot I've just compiled again from svn trunk (rev 36014) and it's even worse now. Look at the screenshot, now it says I have 18215 unread mails! and I can't even read the mails, I hope I haven't lost any mail :-(
Ouch, I'm getting the same behavior as Carlos a lot of ? in the list of emails..
btw I've open the bug 548331 describing the latest issue.
Same behaviour here, I suggest you backup what's left of your mails as my Inbox file seems pretty corrupted. ....
