What were you doing when the application crashed?
tried to open the properties of a file on an ssh gvfs mount. it took too long to open so i cancelled the 'opening properties ...' window and then unmounted the gvfs mount.

there is a similar crash on https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/271515 using the current 2.23 tarball

"How to reproduce:

1. Download "file-535038625.flv" with DownloadHelper(firefox extension) from http://androidguys.com/?p=1614
2. Right click on the downloaded file and select "properties"(the file is downloaded to Desktop)
3. The "You can not stop this" with button "cancel" dialog appears. Click on cancel very fast, because it disappears quickly
4. All desktop icons disappear if you use metacity. Click on Places and select Desktop
