Description CoudCoud 2008-05-10 22:49:49 UTC
Hello,

Will this feature be added soon ?

I'm a new user of evolution (2 months).
I have to create a new category in my address book (this category concerns a
newly created association), approximately 50 contacts will be added to this
category.

I will have to manually check the category checkbox in every contact
addresscard !

It isn't really ergonomic...

What were you doing when the application crashed?
Hello,

its not really a bug I want to report. Its a feature request. It would be better to have a option in the contextmenu when selecting multiple-addresscards to define a category to these selected cards.

best regards,
Benny

I am sorry wrinting the feature request to this list. Perhaps you can give me an advice where to do this the next time. thx

Hello,
Someone has shown me a manipulation to temporary overcome this problem :
- install Kaddressbook (you don't need to install Kontact).
- then export the address book, which you want the categories to be sorted, as a vcard.
- import it in Kaddressbook and make the manipulation on categories.
- export it as a vcard.
- import it in evolution.
