Description Bastien Nocera 2008-04-25 10:41:46 UTC
1. Launch "nautilus -n --no-desktop --browser burn:///"
2. See that there's no root available on the left in the "Tree" page of the sidebar

Nautilus should show burn:/// as a location on the left, so the user knows how to get back to the location where to drop their files.
Comment 1 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-04-30 10:57:29 UTC
You can still access it with "Go->CD/DVD Creator" or from the Places menu.
I am not sure I agree with this report...I have rarely felt the need to browse the burn:/// location, most of the time that folder is just empty.
Comment 2 Bastien Nocera 2008-04-30 11:02:33 UTC
The whole point is to offer a way for the user to drag'n'drop their files to burn easily.

If we opened burn:/// and it had a root in the sidebar, then the user would know how to get back to the burn:/// location.

See bug 119991 comment 25 for the details about the workflow changes we're trying to make (and bug 529867 for the specific one relating to this bug).

Updating component.

This bug should no longer be present with the latest Nautilus redesign.
